Dr. Mark Hyman, MD

Keynote Speaker

Mark Hyman, MD, is a practicing family physician and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in the field of Functional Medicine. He is the founder and director of The UltraWellness Center, founder and Senior Advisor for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, a 15-time New York Times best-selling author, and Board President for Clinical Affairs for The Institute for Functional Medicine.  He is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Function Health.  
 
He is the founder and chairman of the Food Fix Campaign, dedicated to transforming our food and agriculture system through policy. He is the host of one of the leading health podcasts, The Doctor’s Farmacy with 200+ million downloads. Dr. Hyman is a regular medical contributor several television shows and networks, including CBS This MorningToday, Fox, CNN, Good Morning AmericaThe View, and CNN.
 
Through his work to change policy for the betterment of public health, Dr. Hyman has testified before the Senate Working Group on Health Care Reform on Functional Medicine. He has consulted with the surgeon general on diabetes prevention and participated in the 2009 White House Forum on Prevention and Wellness. Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa nominated Dr. Hyman for the President’s Advisory Group on Prevention, Health Promotion, and Integrative and Public Health.

Dr. Rhonda Patrick, Ph.D.

Dr. Rhonda Patrick is a published scientist and health educator. She runs a popular website, podcast, and YouTube channel called FoundMyFitness.
 
Her areas of focus include micronutrient deficiencies and their role in aging, personalized nutrition and the genetics of inter-individual differences in response to diet and lifestyle, gut health and the importance of preventing gut permeability, benefits of exposing the body to hormetic stressors, such as through sauna use or heat stress, various forms of cold exposure, exercise, fasting, or plant phytochemicals, non-pharmacological interventions for depression, and the importance of mindfulness, stress reduction, and sleep in aging.
 
Her work has been published in the journals Experimental Gerontology, FASEB, Nature Cell Biology, and Trends in Cell Biology. She also contributes as an associate scientist at the Fatty Acid Research Institute, focusing on the impact of omega-3 fatty acids on brain aging.
Andy Galpin

Dr. Andy Galpin, Ph.D.

Andy Galpin is a tenured full Professor at California State University, Fullerton. He is the Co-Director of the Center for Sport Performance and Founder/Director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Laboratory. He is a Human Performance scientist with a PhD in Human Bioenergetics and over 100 peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Dr. Galpin has worked with elite athletes (including All-Star, All-Pro, MVP, Cy Young, Olympic Gold medalists, Major winners, World titlist/ contenders, etc.) across the UFC, MLB, NBA, PGA, NFL, Boxing, Olympics, and Military/Special Forces, and more. Dr. Nathan LeBrasseur, Ph.D, M.S.

Nathan LeBrasseur, PT, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has a joint appointment in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering at Mayo Clinic. Dr. LeBrasseur is the Director of the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging, the Co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research, and Scientific Director of the Office of Translation to Practice at Mayo Clinic. He is the recent chair of the NIH Cellular Mechanisms in Aging and Development Study Section.

Dr. LeBrasseur’s research team conducts translational “bench-to-bedside” research on strategies to improve physical function, metabolism, and resilience in the face of aging and disease. His latest work has centered on cellular senescence, a fundamental mechanism of aging, and interventions to counter this process to extend healthspan. Dr. LeBrasseur has received the Glenn Award for Research in Biological Mechanisms of Aging, the Nathan W. Shock Award Lecture from the National Institute on Aging, and the Vincent Cristofalo Rising Star Award in Aging Research from the American Federation for Aging Research. He is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America.

Mark Su

Dr. Mark Su, MD

Mark Su, MD was born to hard-working parents who immigrated from Taiwan and embody the spirit of sacrifice and service to others. He was raised in Indiana with mid-western values such as humility, honesty, integrity, and treating others as you want to be treated. Mark was high school Valedictorian, a leader at Cornell University, and upon completing medical school, Dr. Su was the Academic Chief Resident at Tufts University in Boston and received the national Mead-Johnson Award for outstanding scholastic performance in a Family Medicine residency.
 
He has practiced medicine in the north shore of Massachusetts since 2003, caring for patients in both a primary care setting as well as in functional medicine consultation for chronic complex illnesses, including Lyme/tickborne disease and CIRS/mycotoxin illness. He founded Personal Care Physicians as a functional medicine practice in 2014, and a national virtual consulting practice, Functional Medicine Consulting Group, in 2021. He is currently serving as president of ISEAI, and also a member of the IFM, ILADS, and AAFP.
 
Mark is continually driven identify root causes of patients’ challenging conditions, and to empower patients with choices in their treatment planning.  He’s now equally driven to scale root cause medicine to “help more patients get better, faster”, collaborating with like-mission minded colleagues, health coaches, and other allied health professionals.
Jess Peatross

Dr. Jess Peatross, MD

Dr. Jess Peatross is an internal medicine expert, former hospitalist, an international keynote speaker, and a certified Gerson Practitioner. She's recognized for her expertise in stealth infections, environmental toxicity, regenerative medicine, ozone therapy, and cannabis use in medical treatment. Driven by a quest to unravel the complexities of chronic illness, she focuses on identifying root causes, from stealth infections to environmental factors.

Her medical journey, which began at the University of Louisville, mirrored the experiences of her patients—battling anxiety, hormonal imbalances, and adrenal dysfunction. Dr. Trevor Berry, DC, DACNB

Dr. Trevor Berry is a Board Certified Diplomate of Neurology through ACNB. He is the founder of Arizona Chiropractic Neurology Center and has been in practice since 1997 in Chandler, AZ. As an international speaker since 2010, he lectures on nutrition and functional medicine, laboratory testing, neurological diagnostic testing, functional neurology and low level laser therapy. Dr. Berry co-founded BTB Health Systems and was hired as the Chief Clinical Officer for Applied Functional Neurology (AFN) in 2022. He is a published researcher on low level laser therapy and has multiple projects in the field of integrative neurology for brain based conditions such as neurodegeneration and traumatic brain injury.
